Review – Nyx Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick

I’ve been trying to get my hands on the Nyx Lip Lingerie liquid lipsticks for weeks now and I finally have them! I chose four neutral shades that I’ve been testing out and I’m ready to tell you all about them.

Top Left: Lace Detail, Top Right: Push-Up, Bottom Left: Bedtime Flirt, Bottom Right: Ruffle Trim

I didn’t go for any of the darker nudes in the collection, just not my favorite shades to wear. I’ve been absolutely loving these shades, a pleasant surprise since I ordered them online. The liquid lipsticks I picked out aren’t extremely varied in color, but I like that you can still tell they’re a bit more pink, or a bit more mauve. If I had to pick favorites I would say push-up and bedtime flirt. Bedtime flirt is one of those your-lips-but-better colors, which I’m ALL about. At $7 each, I think the Nyx Lingerie liquid lipstick is a fairly inexpensive matte liquid lipstick option.

They are all very easy to apply without streaks and there’s no noticeable smell, which I like. Also, there is no mess when opening/closing them, which is amazing because messy liquid lipstick is the worst. All of the colors I chose wear very well and don’t look patchy while they’re wearing off. I find that they last about 4 hours without fading, and while they do stay put after eating certain foods, I tend to reapply after lunch. They don’t transfer and they’re very comfortable to wear. They do settle into the lines of your lips a bit, but not too big of a deal. I would definitely recommend trying these out if you’re looking for a less expensive liquid lipstick option!
