Every year since I was little my dad gave me the job of keeping up with the advent calendar. This year I have three going, so at least we know not much has changed. For the sixth day of blogmas, here are my 2016 advent calendars!
Beauty Advent Calendar – girl o’clock rock by Benefit
- This one is a 12 days of Christmas advent calendar and it’s taking all of my strength not to open all the doors right now. It tells you what you get on the website, but I haven’t looked because spoilers. I love Benefit, so I’m really excited about this one!
Advent Calendar – Avon Countdown to Christmas
- I grew up moving this little mouse and my parents let me bring him with me when I moved out. I recently learned that my mum got it from Avon in the 1980’s which makes it kinda-sorta vintage. I’ve just always loved everything about this one. I love Santa and Mrs. Claus sitting by the fireplace together and I love moving that damn mouse every morning!
Chocolate Advent Calendar
- Everyone needs at least one chocolate advent calendar. My dad’s been buying me this one for a few years now. It’s not so much about the chocolate for me as it is about finding the right day and opening the little door to see what shape the chocolate is in. I’ve just always loved that part!
