Three Holiday Red Lips – Blogmas Day 19

You know what goes well with the holidays? A festive red lip. I chose three different types to share: lipstick, liquid lipstick, and matte balm! What’s your favorite holiday red lip? 

Rimmel Kate Moss – 107

• I absolutely love this deep red shade, it’s so easy to wear! It smells nice, goes on really smoothly, and doesn’t feel dry. I also like that it’s long-wearing, but not too hard to remove. 10/10 would recommend this one, I feel like it would work on a lot of different skin tones.

theBalm Meet Matt(e) Hughes – Loyal

• This is a beautiful shade of red, a bit more like a classic red lip. Also it kinda smells like a mint cookie in the best way possible. This applies really nicely and is very long-lasting. I don’t have to reapply much throughout the day and it doesn’t smudge, so it’s definitely kiss proof! And it’s not drying, which I appreciate in the cold winter months.

Revlon Matte Balm – Sultry

• A bit more mauve red for the days when a bright red lip may feel like too much. This feels really nice on the lips and is actually a bit moisturizing since it’s a balm. I like this for a more casual red lip because it wears really well and fades nicely, so you don’t have to worry about reapplying as much.
