My Current Makeup Bag – Collab with Pinched Cheeks & Prosecco

I always love seeing which products someone is currently using, so when Georgi, from Pinched Cheeks & Prosecco, suggested we share our current makeup bags I was all for it. If you haven’t checked out her beauty and lifestyle blog yet, you definitely should! She has great content and blogs about similar topics as me. Now onto the whole talking about what’s in my makeup bag thing.

Foundation: bareMinerals matte in the shade golden fair cuz I’m really pale. I’ve been using this foundation for years. The coverage is buildable, but I use a fairly light hand just to blur any imperfections.

The Nyx Conceal Correct Contour palette is something I’ve been using for awhile as well. I use the bottom two colors to brighten up my under-eye area and the top right color if I really need to conceal something.

Setting powder: Make Up For Ever HD Pressed Powder because it works and it doesn’t make your face look white at all. My brother got me this for Christmas a few years back and I’ve been re-purchasing since!

Bronzer: NARS Laguna bronzer because I’m obsessed and can’t quit this one. It’s a lovely color and blends so easily. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to try a new bronzer.

Blush: I’ve been using Milani Luminoso almost non-stop since I bought it a few months ago. It’s a peachy-coral color with just a hint of shimmer and I love it.

Highlight: I loved theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer highlight right away when I tried it. The website calls it ‘honey-hued’ and gives a gorgeous highlight, definitely lives up to the hype.

BECCA champagne pop is one I always have in my makeup bag as well! It’s a beautiful gold-peach color and a little bit goes a long way.

Brows: Benefit Goof Proof and Benefit Ka-Brow are what I reach for most. I use Ka-Brow most days and Goof Proof when I’m having a no-makeup makeup day.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz is perfect for making small, hair-like strokes for a natural brow look. Note that both of my eyebrow pencils have spoolies on one end.

Eyeshadow & Primer: Urban Decary Naked Basics and Naked2 Basics are my favorite simple, staple eyeshadow palettes and I love nudes, so they work for me. For eyeshadow primer, I’ve only ever used Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion with no complaints.

Eyeliner & Mascara: My all-time favorite liquid eyeliner, Kat Von D Ink Liner in Trooper. No words necessary, go try it out if you haven’t yet!

I use other mascaras sometimes, but always go back to Benefit They’re Real! because it gets the job done and done well.

And that’s what’s in my makeup bag. I didn’t include any of my brushes, thought I’d keep it about the makeup this time. Go check out Georgi’s current makeup bag and show her some love as well!

  1. Great post, I still need to try some of those products. I have really oily skin, would you recommend the Make Up For Ever Pressed Powder as a touch-up through-out the day as well? I am currently using Kat Von D Lock-It compressed powder.
