OUTFIT OF THE DAY | A HAND-ME-DOWN CPO JACKET

My grampa was in the Navy when my dad was a kid and he gave my dad his CPO (chief petty officer) jacket, which he wore all the time growing up. WELL a few years ago my dad gave it to me! AND today I’m sharing my outfit of the day featuring one of my favorite hand-me-downs, my grampa’s CPO jacket.

AND I LIKE to layer this jacket over an outfit when it’s cold enough out to want an extra layer, but not so cold that you need a heavy jacket. Since it’s wool, it’s warmer than it looks, but it’s still pretty lightweight. I like that it’s such a thin layer while still being warm! And it makes me think of my grampa and dad, which I enjoy.

I would consider this a casual weekend daytime outfit. Kinda more casual-comfy with a hint of pineapple. I love this shirt, it’s SO soft. I actually got it in the men’s section, couldn’t resist. I paired it with boyfriend jeans and my converse. Grabbed my CPO jacket to add some hand-me-down vibes and I’ve got an outfit!
