I skipped my chatty catch-up post last month cuz I only posted festive blogmas stuff. The Christmas tree has been taken down and it’s time to get back to it. I’ve been liking a cup of coffee lately, so if we were having coffee I would have mine w/ a splash of Baileys in my new ‘let that shit go’ mug from my parents. Grab a drink, grab a snack, bring a friend, let’s catch-up over a virtual coffee.
If we were having coffee… I’d mention that I was really happy with how blogmas went this year & I loved reading everyone’s festive posts. I tried out some new things, filmed some videos & really enjoyed being creative. Also we had 7.5k views last month on don’t give a jam, definitely made me smile to see people loving blogmas!
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that after two years of using my iPhone to take photos & vidoes for da blog, I finally invested in a camera! I’m really excited to start doing some new stuff. I’m actually filming a vlog right now, I wanted to be able to compare the iPhone to my camera, we’ll see how that goes lol.
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you about my wonderful holiday season full of friends, family & lots of love. And that my 2018 is going pretty well so far, I’m feeling creative & I have a lot of ideas. I’ve actually seen a lot of people trying new stuff in 2018 and being really supportive, so that’s been lovely!
And if we were having coffee… I would wanna hear all about how you’ve been! Tell me something pretty in the comments, something positive that’s happened recently or a goal you have for the new year!

This was such a cute blog post and idea… virtual coffee! Love it!!! I just followed your blog… really enjoying it so far! Ok, so something pretty- we got our first snow in Springfield yesterday and it is gorgeous! I got an extra snowday today- i’m A teacher and ecstatic! A goal I have for this new year is to become a better wife- I read recently a devotion talking about being a gardener in your relationship vs a consumer and it really hit me! Well anywho- keep up the great work and so happy to be following!

I’ve recently gotten heavily into coffee and I’ve managed to replicate Starbucks’ Toffeenut latte…soo good!! Glad you had such a wonderful holiday period…hope your year is amazing too 🙂
