REVIEW | TOO FACED PRIMED & PORELESS PRESSED POWDER

too faced primed and poreless

I’ve been working towards going cruelty-free for awhile now, it’s definitely a process, but it’s been a cool process. My setting powder ran out recently & I figured it was the perfect time to replace it with one that wasn’t tested on animals, to work on my cruelty-free makeup collection. SO today we’re talking about the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder.

cruelty-free setting powder:

cruelty free makeup

I’ve been using the Make Up For Ever HD high definition pressed powder in translucent for a few years now. I actually really like it. It sets my makeup nicely & I don’t have to use much. I have combination skin, but I do typically blot about halfway through the day with this setting powder. Not ideal, but definitely something I’m willing to deal with and I like that it doesn’t show up white in pictures.

BUT I don’t love that Make Up For Ever isn’t cruelty-free.

thinking about switching to cruelty-free?

SO I picked up the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder & honestly, I think I like it better. The packaging is adorable, it reminds me of Polly Pocket in the best way. I find that I have to blot a lot less with this one, if at all (who knew?). I use a brush rather than the sponge thing it comes with & a little bit really does go a long way. It gives skin a smoother look, helps keep my makeup in place longer AND it’s cruelty-free, so you get to support an ethical brand!

  1. That’s so awesome that you’re switching to all cruelty-free makeup. All of the beauty products I use and purchase are cruelty-free too. (Except my mascara–I can’t seem to find a great one!) My favorite setting powder is Tarte’s Smooth Operator loose translucent powder…it’s amazing. I don’t think you would have to blot even once a day!
