OUTFIT OF THE DAY | CIRCUS TENT MIDI SKIRT

OOTD

My clothes have a huge impact on my mood, anyone else? If I like my outfit, everything’s good, the day’s going great. But bad outfit? Bad day. The pattern of this striped midi skirt reminds me of a circus tent & for some reason that makes me smile. Outfit of the day featuring this circus-tent-looking skirt.

casual midi-skirt outfit:

I just wanna mention that these tight midi skirts aren’t the easiest to walk in, especially up the stairs, lol. It’s a bit restrictive around your legs, but pretty comfy overall. It was 80° & sunny on Saturday and this outfit definitely helped me keep cool.

casual skirt outfit:

I found this old black tank top in my dresser & knotted it so it would hit right above the skirt. I layered a strappy bra underneath & added this striped midi skirt from Bershka, which I got through the ASOS website. I finished off the look with white converse, my black backpack & yellow sunnies from ASOS. I vlogged this weekend if you wanna see this outfit in action!

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

COMMENT BELOW, tell me, if you had to wear ONE outfit for the rest of your life, what would you choose? FOR ME, it would be mom jeans & an oversized t-shirt.

  1. I am going to put the first thing that came into my head… I would wear my up-cycled ladies housecoat thanks that was jazzed with layers of green lace. Even though I haven’t got it anymore, I let it move on to a new home. It was such a unique item of clothing and I love the fact it probably came from a grannies house in the states, somehow found its way into my friends Suze creative hands and I then I took it to Chile where I sold it on the street. The shape of it was great, I felt like a big triangle and it had a pocket, sports jacket style collar and painted flower print.
