SO I’ve been going through my makeup stuff and switching over to cruelty-free when products need to be replaced. I’ve lost some makeup I really love, but at the end of the day, I’m just not so comfy supporting a brand that tests on animals. Today I’m talking about a pretty popular drugstore bronzer that’s affordable & also happens to be cruelty-free. Talking about the PHYSICIANS FORMULA BUTTER BRONZER.
best cruelty free drugstore bronzer?
Physicians Formula isn’t the least expensive drugstore brand, I spent about $15 or so on my this bronzer. BUT it’s also way cheaper than what I was using before, the NARS laguna bronzer, which isn’t cruelty-free. They’re both great bronzers, but the butter bronzer has a smaller price tag & if it means one less bunny wearing lipstick, it’s kind of a no-brainer for me. I got the Physicians Formula butter bronzer about 4 months ago & haven’t used any other bronzer since. It smells like vacation, kinda like coconuts, or sunblock, in a good way. They have four shades, I went with light cuz I’m pale. It comes with this little sponge thing, but I just use my big kabuki brush. It’s creamy, easy to apply & blends really easily, 12/10 would recommend. Can’t go wrong with cruelty-free drugstore makeup that works like a dream!

I’ve been wanting to buy this bronzer as well, but it seems so glittery to me and I only want glitters in my highlighter. I like the idea of switching to cruelty free, I feel like it makes you a bit more active in your society or something. x

hmmm i wonder if you’re thinking of a different bronzer? i don’t find it to be glittery in the slightest! i just don’t want lil bunnies being tested on 🙂

I am pretty happy with my bronzer (Jane Iredale and it is cruelty free) BUT I love that this smells like coconuts! I might just have to try it! ❤

ooooh i’ve never heard of that one, might have to try it out sometime! the coconut smell definitely gets me, feels like i’m on vaca lol 🙌🏻

it’s definitely my fave (& cheapest) bronzer i’ve used! can’t really go wrong with drugstore & cruelty-free, especially since it works so nicely!
