Through a wonderfully merry season, you still have to stir up some lighthearted drama here & there. I figured it was only right to post some unpopular holiday opinions this December! ALL I want for Christmas is for you to tell me how MUCH you agree and/or disagree with my opinions. These comment sections are always the best, so cool to compare thoughts. SO HERE WE GO, some unpopular opinions, Christmas edition.

I LOVE CHEESY HALLMARK MOVIES
- No matter how bad some of them can be, there’s just something so classic & festive about a cheesy holiday movie. They’re on repeat all month long, bad or not.
CHRISTMAS STARTS RIGHT AFTER HALLOWEEN
- I feel this is both a popular AND an unpopular opinion, but yeah. Once Halloween is over it’s fair game to start in on Christmas, I don’t wanna wait.
UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS SHOULD BE CUTE-UGLY
- You know, that in-between where something is meant to be ugly, but it’s still cute. CAN’T tell ya how many times I’ve gotten, “Well, but HEY ha-ha-lol! THAT’S not ugly, it’s SO cute” & it’s just like ???? yeah cute UGLY, don’t @ me.
SHOPS AROUND CHRISTMAS MAKE ME ANXIOUS
- THIS ONE might be half & half. Always SO many people in the shops AND they’re always pushing, so rude. I love finding that perfect gift, but I prefer shopping local, searching online, or getting my shopping done early.
I DON’T CARE ABOUT MERRY CHRISTMAS VS. HAPPY HOLIDAYS, ETC.
- I feel like if someone wishes you a happy holiday season (whichever holiday it may be) their intention is always good. OBVIOUSLY they don’t know what you celebrate, they just want you to have a happy season. MERRY EVERYTHING LOL WHO CARES.
I REALLY DON’T LIKE THE MOVIE HOME ALONE.
- OMG I KNOW, I thought about leaving this out cuz I feel the h8, h8, h8, BUT some UNPOPULAR opinions really are unpopular. This is an absolute classic, but I just really never liked it much.

Hahah I love these! Malls get so crowded this time of year that it gives me a bit of anxiety so I tend to stay away unless the hubby is coming along. I LOVE Home Alone, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea so live and let live!

I did 90 percent of my shopping online this year! I can’t handle crowded malls/stores!

I’ve been doing all of my Christmas shopping online for a decade now. 😛 I can’t even remember the last time I bought a gift in an actual store. haha
For me, Christmas doesn’t start until after Thanksgiving. But two weeks after Halloween is my birthday, so I think about and anticipate that. Then shortly after my birthday is Thanksgiving, so I anticipate that as well. Then once it’s over is when I start getting geared up for Christmas. I usually do my Christmas shopping around the end of November.

I definitely agree with Christmas starts right after halloween. We, Filipinos, even feel festive already at the start of September soooo I definitely agree with that!! ❤️
