BEST ’90s HALLOWEEN MOVIES

90s halloween movies

WANNA get into the spooky spirit, but not into horror movies? These ‘90s HALLOWEEN MOVIES are perfect if you love Halloween, but don’t love being scared.

HALLOWEEN MOVIES FROM THE ’90S

EDWARD SCISSORHANDS – 1990

  • I JUST love everything about this one. Winona Ryder plays Kim Boggs, who becomes a bit infatuated with Edward, played by Johnny Depp. Tim Burton does Halloween right, every time.

HOCUS POCUS – 1993

  • THIS IS an absolute classic & it doesn’t really feel like the spooky season is complete without watching it. I recently uploaded how Hocus Pocus might be different if it were filmed today if you need more Sanderson Sisters in your life.

THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS – 1993

  • TIM BURTON just doing Halloween stuff & making classics. I watch this every year, as many times as I can & sing along to all the songs. Everything you want in a Halloween movie & more.

DOUBLE, DOUBLE, TOIL AND TROUBLE – 1993

  • MY FRIEND & I always used to watch the Olsen twins movies! Such a throwback lol.

THE HALLOWEEN TREE – 1993

  • THIS is actually a book as well if you’re more into reading. It’s about a group of kids who go on a Halloween adventure of sorts.

CASPER – 1995

  • I MEAN he’s a friendly ghost, what more could you ask for? It’s a little bit funny, it’s a little bit spooky & Christina Ricci is Halloween perfection.

CASPER MEETS WENDY – 1998

  • THIS IS the more you could ask for. CASPER meets Wendy, played by Hilary Duff before she became Lizzie McGuire.

HALLOWEENTOWN – 1998

  • ONE OF my all-time favorites, I don’t let a year go by without a Halloweentown viewing. Perfect in every way & a great watch to get into the spirit without getting scared. This is a feel good Halloween flick for sure.
