TODAY I’m sharing some pictures that were taken in ‘ugly’ locations for the ugly location photoshoot challenge. I was tagged by Arianna who talks all about fashion, outfits & styling on her blog Aricouture, check her out! BUT FIRST, check out the ugly locations I picked for this challenge & the outfits I wore in said ‘ugly’ places.
ugly location photoshoots:
UGLY LOCATION ONE: arcade
I think this beachy arcade / amusement center made the perfect backdrop for an ugly photoshoot. The middle picture was a sketchy alleyway that my dad insisted upon & it actually came out really cool, so, kudos dad. I played up the grungy-beach vibe with a bralette, high-waisted shorts & a slouchy cardigan. And my yellow sunnies, of course.
UGLY LOCATION TWO: dumpster
This second photoshoot was performed by my tripod & I figured the perfect accessory for my beanie & band tee outfit in front of the dumpster was McDonald’s. I was telling my friend Mia about this challenge & she suggested I take some in front of the dumpster, so, here they are. Dumpsters are definitely ‘ugly.’
UGLY LOCATION THREE: restaurant
You may have seen this Pull&Bear t-shirt in an OOTD post & I’m still loving it! We took these pictures both in the restaurant and in the parking lot. I paired this graphic tee with plaid leggings, mules, and my trusty red backpack. I thought it was cool seeing an offbeat location go from ugly to pretty just from angles, editing, etc.
RULES:
- Find at least 3 locations that are just OKAY or UGLY & name those locations to let your followers know
- Take at least 3 photos in those locations, with different outfits
- Try to use a prop in each location (optional)
- Tag at least 5 other bloggers & list the rules
